Loup Uberto operates in the vast circle of improvised music and singular phonic experiments. Oscillating on the borders of documentary craftsmanship, photography, installation and performance, he founded the group Bégayer and carries out numerous sound surveys: Cuban “raw” music, East European travel diaries, Kurdish songs from Syria, struggles and mystics from the Tunisian mining basin, Italian songs of work and gesture… His fleeting practice of collecting questions lack and uprooting, documents wandering, exile, trouble and contemporary labour.
