Marija Katalinic is the project coordinator of ”Display Europe – Democracy runs on Screens” project at the European Cultural Foundation. With over five years’ experience in management, and having previously worked in Rijeka 2020 – European Capital of Culture in Croatia as the participatory project manager, Katalinic is interested in working with the community and bringing democratic values forward through theory and practice, as well as in translating and structuring different stakeholders’ needs for building successful interpersonal and organisational collaborative networks. Holding degrees in cultural studies and journalism, her additional interest is documentary filmmaking to which she contributes as a curator, organiser, and a scholar.”
