Afsaneh Angelina Rafii is the founder and editor of Icarus Complex Magazine – an annual print magazine and communications platform about climate change.

She began her journalism career as a freelance writer for the main daily newspapers in Luxembourg. In 2009 she obtained a Masters degree in Journalism from City University in London. In 2019, realizing there was a gap in climate coverage, she launched Icarus Complex, one of the first independent magazines on the climate crisis with the slogan “an in-depth look at issues surrounding climate change”.
