Amandine Gay

Amandine Gay divides her time between creative work and advocacy. A filmmaker and producer (Speak Up (Ouvrir la voix), 2017; A Story of One’s Own (Une histoire à soi), 2021), she is also an activist (co-founder of Adopté.e.s Month in 2018) and a writer (A Chocolate Doll (Une poupée en chocolat), La Découverte, 2021. In 2025, she directed Ballroom, the first documentary series in France dedicated to this world, produced for France Télévisions, and published Living, Free: Existing at the Heart of White Supremacy (Vivre, libre Exister au coeur de la suprématie blanche), La Découverte, 2025.
