Jennifer Laourou is in charge of global policy and advocacy at the Initiative for Artistic Freedom (ILA), a sister organization of the Artistic Freedom Initiative (AFI), based in Geneva. In this role, she contributes to the Global Policy & Advocacy program, which conducts research, produces reports, and advocates for legal and policy reforms to protect and promote artistic freedom worldwide. She has strong knowledge of multilateral institutions, which she leverages to support international advocacy campaigns. Her work contributes to the organization’s engagement with bodies such as the United Nations Human Rights Council, UNESCO, and European Union institutions.
