Iris Ouedraogo is a journalist and podcast trainer. She got her start in podcasting by creating Travail de bleu, where young people talk about their difficult beginnings in the professional world. She then wrote and shot around ten episodes of Transfert (Louie Media and Slate) and became a production manager. She then created and produced the CheckNews podcast (Libération). In 2022, she travelled to Liberia for a major report on the social stigma attached to epilepsy (Binge Audio). And she completed a two-year investigation into reparations for slavery: Réparations (Paradiso), nominated at Longueurs d’ondes and the International Women’s Podcast Awards. She was also selected for the Sounds of New York podcast writer residency. She is a podcast trainer for journalism students, schoolchildren and information and communication professionals. She is spokesperson for the Association des journalistes antiracistes et racisé.es.
