Kadi-Ell Tähiste is the Acting Director of Operations of the Tallinn-based Kai Art Center and the Estonian Contemporary Art Development Center. Tähiste is one of the main organizers of the contemporary photography fair Foto Tallinn and has worked on a variety of international and local contemporary art projects.

She holds a MA in Law from Tartu University where she defended her master thesis on the topic “The freedom of art and its limitations in the context of the Estonian constitution”
