Daniel Jakobson is Communication Manager at Clubcomission Berlin. He studied at the University of the Arts as well as Freie Universität in Berlin and Hebrew University in Jerusalem and teaches at University of Applied Sciences Berlin. In his earlier career he worked in design and the cultural sector for different museums.  
After the outbreak of Russia’s war against Ukraine, Berlin clubs came together as part of a campaign by Clubcommission to help refugees and people remaining in the country. 60 clubs donated proceeds from the first opening weekend after the Corona lockdowns to several charities in Ukraine. Clubcomission also helps with finding jobs for refugees in the industry, and closely works with Ukrainian activists, nightlife workers and artists that had to flee their homes and country.
